I didn't realize those were ACTUAL game jerseys. Like... worn for a regular season series. 

These damn things have lived rent free in the darkest parts of my brain ("the parts you don't talk about at dinner parties") since 1999.

New All-Star mag pads for my FM4000 steel - went with the grey this time because UmpAttire had them on sale for just $50 (last one in stock)!  I had the black pads before, but I think these look pretty sweet, and also go with pretty much every color shirt, maybe even better than black does.  (I also got a new UmpLife mask harness, not pictured - I cut off the two side straps on that - anyone else do that? It seems like they aren't needed.)

Another fine job by Tony at Mask-It Sports. The original silver was showing its age. Went with the matte black after seeing @Rock Bottom mask above. All ready for Spring!!

If it's the second version I would use them to help hide the extra length of your strap after you adjust everything. Wish the second version had been available when I got mine. It's still the best mask harness available.

Right. However, are you (All-Star) going to make small-batch sky blue pads for a marquee university baseball program with sure-fire TV coverage, shelling out millions of 💸 (hey hey hey! Texas A&M is reportedly going pay Jimbo Fisher $75M not to coach)… 

… or to sell to an amateur umpire somewhere in Palookaville, USA? 

Even @Thunderheads doesn’t have that kind of pull.

This was sold to me by a member here whom said he was "retiring" it had some used TW pads on it that I found stiff even when warmed up.

 

Well he was recently looking for one so today I am sending it back to him with some silver AS LUC pads

I essentially leased it from him for a season. Now I am sending it back at no charge to him as he is such an awesome guy and done so well with sales here I feel I do not want anything from him other than to use it and call them well.

My Nike mask got hit 3 times by foul balls in one game and it came out like this the next day... I contacted Tony from Maskit and he said he could straighten the bars out and powder coat it.  I have to follow up with him again

Once you bend it, it’s never as strong as it used to be. I’ve had the same thing with a wilson TI I was going to get bent back and decided against it.
