And the second one, is the other way around:

Blue sleeves and yellow in the center....

It's all about who finances the uniform.

We got the materials as a donation and to avoid a full blue and a full yellow one,

they came up with this solution.....

2 years ago, we had full red shirts, cotton shirts.

I wonder if other conferences will follow suit? I guess the Big 12 would go with dark red?

i wonder what the number color combo is on these jackets... i actually kinda like em in fact it adds to the "prestige" of being in the SEC, kinda like when you get in the big leagues you can get the new balance b/w base shoes in mid and your poly wools have white pockets instead of black...

Don't forget indicators made of elephant tusks and Nutty Buddys encrusted with a leprechaun's gold.

I actually thought of this post this weekend when a youth coach tried to tell me that in the SEC on ESPN game on Thursday a pitched ball bounced before it hit the runner and they didn't award him 1st, just called it a dead ball. Of course this is after this same situation occurs in our game.  In my head I thought, "but they have the gold stripes, you're an idiot."  On the outside I just said, "hmm," and looked at him like "you're an idiot."

I prefer to be paid in bills but if all they have is change and it adds up to the agreed upon fee ..........

Me too. Some, maybe most, umpires are closed minded.

I actually like the look.

An open mind allows a lot of garbage to be thrown in. :fuel:
