If this unequal is ball repellent maybe they should think about making a cup out of the material!!!

Does anyone have both an Unequal and a TW Retro?

I though about picking one up, but I was hoping to get the NCAA clinic price. $249 is just too much to satisfy my curiosity. Anyone know if better prices than $249 are available? If I really liked it, I probably could make some bucks selling my Power with the TW retrofit. :) (Unlikely I'd sell that, although I'd like to replace the harness on it.) The Power, if I ever sold it, would not be inexpensive. I've put no thought into setting a price and would probably keep it even if I bought one of these. Seven innings of plate work in a HS scrimmage. Took one shot off my right forearm...ball hit batter then hit me...but nothing off of the CP. Ball Repellant.

I'll have to ask my buddy who has one up here. He wore it while doing winter ball down in Arizona. Will have to try and remember to ask when I see him Wednesday.

YESSSSSSSS!  Took one off shoulder Friday. Nothing. Took one off of protector in the left pectoral. Nothing. Had  a plate today in a jr college game and again it repelled the baseball. It is a force shield from evil. I also put a delta harness and it keeps it in place very well.

What level is winter ball?

 

I believe it is up to summer ball. Have a clinic this weekend. Will see if anyone has a UE (I'm sure someone must) and will try and take I into the cage with me.

Up to summer ball? I think I'm missing something. I mean to ask if it's amateur, independent, MiLB? I see that umpstu has worn his in a JUCO game, but for the most part, all of the college and minor league guys I've asked have either been skeptical or or excited but not enough to ditch the tried and true CPs.

If it is Arizona Fall league, your buddy would be a AAA umpire.

Few innings of a college scrimmage tonight. Three-man, U1, two missed balls on pickoff attempts...ended up being a wicket. The poly-wools got a glancing blow to the inseam. #GoodThingForCompressionShorts

F2 got crossed up and I took a fastball right to the nutty buddy.  

 

Didn't feel a thing.
