  1. Hello everyone, I am selling my black Wilson Aluminum mask frame. Never worn, asking $55 shipping included. Pictures as follows. This also includes a Wilson harness.
  2. Sold @Thunderheads please lock it up!!
  3. Here are some photos. I will make sure to fully clean and polish the shoes before shipping them. Shipping times may be delayed by a week as we just got struck by a Cat 3 hurricane and it’s really effecting shipping times.
  4. Hello Everyone, I am selling my Muzuno Plate umpire shoes for $110 dollars shipping included. Only wore them about 2 times, message me for photos. Size 14
  5. Hello Everyone, I am looking for any spare Wilson Plates, spare plastic parts, or anything else! Any size, Wilson West Vest Gold (Black). Particularly shoulder plates. Thanks, Michael
  6. I got it, thanks, I wasn't able to see the addresses when I posted them, but I looked closer. If you blow it up, you can barely see it. I got it taken care of.
  7. It is actually super light, lighter than Team Wendy, and is a 1/2 inch thick.
  8. Hello, Everyone. I figured it was about time I measured the pros and cons of our pad, and Team Wendy. Just so you know, I am not saying our pad is better than Team Wendy's. Our pad has a couple of upsides that Team Wendy didn't, the first being its lightweight design. Coming in around 10 -12 oz is lighter than the heavier team Wendy pad. The second pro to our pad compared to the Team Wendy pad is the fact that the pad can be worn in all weather conditions without the padding getting hard. The third thing is breathability; many people complained about Team Wendie's being hot; in my opinion this had much to do with the fact that Team Wendy CP was insulated and heavy. What do I mean by that? Well, in taking apart a Team Wendy pad sample I had, I noticed two things: the mesh was coated with plastic vinyl inside, and the foam itself was an open-cell foam. Two problems with that are that an Open Cell Foam tends to hold water/moisture and get heavier and heavier with time. With plastic-coated vinyl on the back of the mesh, it wasn't allowing for the extra breathability the mesh could fully offer. With that being said, Team Wendy had time and experience on their hands. It is used and has been used by many MLB umpires. As my company continues to grow, I have had the opportunity to retrofit some MLB/MILB umpire's chest protectors, who you will be see wearing on the field this upcoming year. I don't knock Team Wendy at all for saying that we were able to make some improvements in the pad. I owe it a lot to Team Wendy as they have helped me figure out how to innovate. I have become on a first-name basis with some people over at Team Wendy, great people! I wish they would have continued with retrofitting because it truly was iconic. I hope to be as half as good as they were in my retrofitting; I appreciate all the support, constructive feedback, photos, etc. that Everyone has given me on this forum this past year! It's wild to think I asked a simple question almost a year ago: "Hi, everyone! So, does anyone know who to contact to get a chest protector retrofitted like Team Wendy used to do? I have called upholsters, and all say they can’t do it. Does anyone have any ideas?" since then I have made so many friends on this forum, and learned so much! I am truly humbled to have been able to talk to amazing guys like @MadMax @Kelly McNary@Razzer, and so many other great guys! God Bless you guys, Michael Materasso

  10. @Rock BottomI am also making this claim after dissecting these shin guards, how they are made, what materials they use, and such. I'm not saying I am an expert on the product; however, from what I have heard, seen, and evaluated, they aren't the best. Also note that this guy sees about mid-90s, so that could play a factor. I should have also clarified while I don't think Force 3 is the best brand out there, I wasn't directly saying everything Force 3 makes is crap; I was more saying its crap because they are so misleading on the Kevlar, yes, it has Kevlar in there, it just a tiny amount. If you have had a great experience with them, then good for you; all I was saying is I had a buddy of mine send in his shin guards (Force 3) to get retrofitted because of the continuous problems he has had with his Force 3, and after looking at them I have a good idea why.
  11. I'm making the statement off the continuous injuries one of my customers has had because of the shin guards. Buckles breaking, the actual physical plastic breaking, and extensive bruising after taking shots off the shin guards.
  12. Force 3 is crap, I am retrofitting a pair of force 3 for a guy because of continuous injuries to his knee. This is the so called Kevlar they use in them. You see that little yellowish color sliver? that’s the Kevlar. It’s just a marketing scam. It does nothing.
  13. I think it's the fact that it was iconic; it was unique at the time; I really don't know, man. I am not paying a grand for one. lol
  14. I know John Libka took some shots; he said he felt fine. Another guy on this forum took about 90 and said they felt fine. I know @Kelly McNary took about 85MPH and said he also felt fine. @Kelly McNary let me know if I have that wrong
