    U2 hit award

Saw this play and had a question. The 2nd clip shows U2 getting hit with a batted ball in front of infielders, obviously it is a dead ball because U2 was in front of fielders. On the broadcast it was mentioned that R2 (at the time of the pitch) was awarded 3rd base and BR 1st. I was confused at why R2 was awarded 3rd and why he was not returned to 2nd? My understanding is that when a ball hits a umpire in front of the fielders, that the BR is awarded 1st base and that all other runners would return to the bases they occupied at the time of pitch, unless forced to advance by the BR being awarded 1st.
  3. Selling All Star Mag. Silver bar and grey AS pads. The pads are brand new and have ever been used in a game. $200 or brand new Wilson Ti.

  5. I wear a Nike titanium mask and before this year, I usually rock with the team Wendy pads. But now that they discontinued and everything I was on the market for a new pad and discovered some Rawlings pads. I knew there were similar to Nike pads, but they were just without the Nike logo. I got them in about two months ago and very impressed on how similar they are to the Nike pads, to me all that is different was the logo. I eventually took off the Rawlings red patch on the front and it looks a lot cleaner just the black pad. I think it looks better without the Nike swish too if you're not a big logos guy. Overall, I would probably recommend the Rawlings pads if you like Nike pads they are very similar in my opinion. They also are very comfortable with one of the most comfortable pads I think too. Overall, I would go for which had you feel are the most comfortable and protective.
  6. I think @Whosyourcaddy can help.
  7. Got some red Nike pads for sell. From former catcher who I bought a Nike from. Shoot me an offer or I would be more than willing to trade.
  8. Suggestion #3 is ridiculous. Umpiring a 9 inning game 2/3 times in 7 days is a ridiculous ask, I know MILB guys have to do it. I could not disagree more, hitters have to get a hit 30% of the time to be in the HOF and umpires miss one pitch and everyone rips them for it. Harper needs to worry about being a player and let the umpires umpire that game.
  9. I just got this Rawlings Coolflo Plate helmet in... and love it. In my opinion, it looks the best of the other plate helmets. I saw MLB umpires wear it, but there are none wearing the skully. The bill of the helmet is short enough, were I have no problem in removing the mask. I would highly recommend this one.
  10. Hi everyone. I want to buy a Nike made before 2016 with the extended bars. After reading MadMax's post on the differences between Nikes made before and after 2016, I became very interested in getting one before 2016. I have posted some photos below of the Nike I want vs the others. Thanks! Nike I want ( before 2016): Other Nike (after 2016):
  11. Hi everyone. Quick post but wanted to ask if this was a real and good site? I have just never heard of it. It looks pretty good to me but wanted confirmation. Thanks! https://umpjunksa.com
  12. Wow, very fascinating!!! Wish I had it, so I could send you those measurements. Real cool stuff, I have a Nike, I guess, from the 2016 to 2019 timeframe. I definitely saw a difference in my Nike and others. I wrote this topic on a similar topic: (Definitely less detailed) Also if anyone has a “Pre 2016” Nike, that they want to sell, I “may” pay a pretty penny for it. Thanks.
