If it's just the sizing that's the problem, you can buy replacement pads of a different size. I use a mix of M and L pads and fits perfect.

Oh interesting. Where'd you get the extra pads? I could probably use some thinner ones on the back just so it's a tiny bit tighter.

Nope Bone Stock new.  My back up so when I send out my black one that got dinged I do not have to rely on the hollow steel champro with the TW pads as its a been a bit cold for them still

Chop it

You Mask-o-chist.

One of the two distinctive features of the Nike Teardrop is that minuscule chin guard, scaled and raked in a way to allow a throat guard rather easily. If ya gotta get yer chop on, start loppin' off cheaper, more run-of-the-mill masks.

The other distinctive feature is the flanking ear guards, devoid of cross-struts, ala Mizuno masks.

Greg Gibson with black All Star mag and navy pads. Looks sharp with the visor.

Doesn't look bad, but ...... I don't get it?  Why navy?

Dunno, definitely unique though and would look good with a navy shirt

Added the visor to mine was wondering how much of a difference it would make while using a skully cap and YEAH I was impressed .

Love that visor!

Can you say more?  Most of the benefits folks mention with the visor is that it keeps your hat 'cooler', which I would think wouldn't be a problem with a skully?  Can you clarify what makes you like the visor over a skully so much?  (Asking because I am putting together a UA order soonish, and was considering a visor).

On a standard mask, this is exactly right. Especially if you are using a standard cloth hat with it. The sun shield is not visible beyond the bill of the cap. So it basically just keeps the sun off that area of the front of your hat.

HOWEVER! If you are using the Cobalt helmet, that bill is VERY short and you can see the visor. It will work much like it is supposed to. Keeping the high sun out of your eyes.

Ah! Thats a great point, thanks!  I think I might just get it then.

With the correct pads the visor sits below the skullys visor and acts similar to the skullys visor its self although you CAN see thru it. Something I actually found novel the 1st time I noticed it.   As a practice I do not look thru it but was amused at how well I could see thru it. Much like a pair of sunglasses is how it acts visually

Considering my location in this great country of ours. I also like that the visor keeps the rain off the bill of my cap.
