6 inning game (5.5 on a HT win)

game started at 6:04 game ended at 7:12

both pitchers threw CGs both were around 70 pitches....kids were swinging and defense was making plays......

only 2 hits in the game...a HR by HT and a single by the VT.....

any personal bests on game time?????

Team failed to show up. Declared a forfeit at the plate meeting. HT wins 10-0. Not a pitch thrown. And I got my game fee.

I had a JV game earlier this season scheduled as a 7-5 doubleheader. The first I had the plate and it finished as a 1-1 tie in 8... We got through seven in about 1:10, after the extra frame it was 1:25. The second 5-inning game I was in the field and we finished 1-0 on a walk-off after 1:10.

Started the first game at 4, out of there by 7.  :rock

JV game VT won 3-2 full 7 innings 1:18. I called lots of strikes, they swung the bats and the defense made plays, just like it's supposed to be!

By definition, I think all of us have a personal best on a game time.  Maybe that's not really what you were asking, though. ;)

Not to hijack, but what rules code has 10-0 as the forfeit score?

I had the plate last season for the "holy war" between 2 local Catholic HS's. 7 innings, HT walked off 1-0 with 1 out in the 7th with a run-scoring sac fly.

57 minutes. Story, with a nice photo of my back but no mention of the length of the game. ;)

SR Legion game a couple years ago...Full 7 innings, 1-0 in 56 minutes.  Lot of strikes, good defense, and very few, if any errors.

Personal best was HS Regional Semi this season.  !:05.  Both pitchers were dealing. 7-inning, 1-0 final & game featured 5 double-play turns & 3 caught stealing @ 2B.  Every banger called on bases by my partner was an out.  Not that he was trying to speed game that's just how the plays went down.  It was also an error free game.

How about scheduled to do 3 x 7 inning games @ $50 per plus 2 game fee for driving. It rained out before I got there and nobody called me. They paid me ALL $250. Easey Peasey Japanesy!

I would say my personal best was a 15 inning 4hr 56min game behind the dish on a early afternoon sunny, clear high 90s day with high 90s relative humidity wearing a K1 and a bucket, somehow didn't lose consciousness at any point. VT was up by 8 runs in the 6th and totally s**t the bed allowing HT to tie the game.  Maybe a different perspective on personal best, but I was proud of myself.  Fastest 7 innings at an hour 18.  Mens league, pitchers were totally on no hits till the top of 7 with a HR swing, that was it.

I did a 35 minute game, 12U plate normally I had a base umpire but we had way too many games, I was calling from line to line tops of letters to bottoms of knees, game mercy ruled after 4 innings 21-1 or similar, made $56 that game instead of $42 because i worked alone and I was so glad it was a blowout because it meant my lack of a partner had little effect on the outcome (losing coach pretty much said before the game that having 1 guy instead of 2 wouldn't matter at all) easiest game ever

@ Maven

Nice photo....looks like you were 3BLX on the possible sweep tag on the SAC fly, correct? Did not look like the play was very close though.

HS, summer, $60, tourney game; double no-hitter with one unearned run; 61/2 innings, was in the locker room 55 minutes after the scheduled start.  Winning (paying) coach busted my chops complaining that the crew was making more than $1/minute.

I had a Junior American Legion game last week that was 12-0 after 4.5 innings.  Home team scored 9 in the 1st, 3 in the 3rd, and went in order the other 2 innings.  VT had one hit.  First pitch was 7:05 and I was in my car by 8:10.  Probably not my fastest, but given the $62 game fee it was my best hourly rate.
