Is this a TW Platinum?  I just bought it , so I hope so.

It has the right look. Stock pad is grey as we all know and TW is black.

Description says it is “unused”, so I’m unsure of how new it is.

Here’s a pic of mine, guaranteed Team Wendy. Some differences but who knows what they varied. I cut the rib wings down by half and opened up the collar.

I had a TW Douglas WAY back .... and I don't recall any logo on the CP padding ... maybe a small tag, but not certain

No logo on mine. Don’t remember if the neck had a tag when I modified it.

I went through the sellers eBay store just to see what else there was. The one lone shin guard is the only umpire thing he has. And there is maybe a handful of other baseball stuff. The rest is... eclectic to say the least.

Two things:

1. The item is listed as "new without tags." I'm pretty sure they're not new. They haven't been used a lot, but they're not "new."

2. It looks like it's a pair by this picture. Pretty sure this guy has zero idea about what he has.

I mean, it is rare. It's a Nike "Teardrop", which I'm convinced is a Mizuno made for and marketed through Nike here in the USA. Nike only sold them, on retail shelves, for 3-4(?) years, and stopped marketing them as the enforcement of NFHS Rules has strengthened.
