I think you can still find them, but this guy knows what he has. On the eBay site it says worn by a pro... that tells me a pro took them in and traded for something, or maybe sold them because he has new ones coming or retiring or something. I got a new MAG off a retired MLB catcher once for well under asking price.

Oh, and don't try a low-ball make an offer option, I did and was denied up to $150 before giving up.

Took a closer inspection at the Nikes on eBay from PIAS. 

Using the PIAS store pics as the eBay ones don't show much.  The red is the best mask, the other two

blue masks are dented on the main eye bar. 

The thing about these being used by a pro detracts value to me.  If the pro is getting rid of them, he's probably getting new ones. They see much higher speeds than most of us do in a routine Varsity or JV ballgame. Almost every hit to the mask at that level has the potential to bend a frame.

After looking at pics, I'd stay away from these - especially at the asking price.  If it's already taken a wallop hard enough to bend the frame, then I wouldn't drop $250+ and hope it'll take another shot without completing letting go.

I mean... the frame has, in impression, been sold as practically indestructible. That it takes a TON of force to do that to one of these.

In the short video on their Instagram, you can see that it wasn't the first time that mask got it. And it was taking some pretty violent hits.

My skepticismeter (AKA bullSH*# meter) is pointing towards that mask on eBay having been rolled over by a car. I've got steel masks that don't look like that after "one minor hit".

Full disclosure: that's a V1 Unequal with a new F3 harness.  IMHO, $160 is a bit high for a V1.

Just picked this up... is it a Titanium V1 from All Star?   It doesn't have the chin tab that the steel catcher's masks do.  Thoughts?

It definitely looks like one. I happened to see one of these two weekends ago at a 14u tournament. I was pretty excited to see one of these. And he had no clue what he had. Lol

Absolutely is a V1 FM25 TI.  I had one and sold it.  Regret letting that one go.  Great maskframe.  Enjoy that one.

You know me, I'll probably sell it on here or Facebook.  I just like the fun of buying/selling/swapping.  It's in my blood.  I get to see different gear and try it out. If I really like it, then I keep it - but normally end up passing most things on.

I wonder if you will run into the same thing I have with my Rawlings TI. I'm not looking to sell it. But I was curious the going price on it and the gap in pricing is pretty crazy for a used one. I've seen as low as $65. And as high as $250. 

I wonder what the All Star TI you have would go for in a fair price?

I honestly have no idea.  I think masks with squared-off ear-guards are generally less desirable by most umpires, so I am sure that affects price.

Wonder if this is actually true. I dont have any desire right now to sell the Rawlings. But the ears on that are definitely squared.

This is the same as our Platinum and Gold (minus wings).  The difference is instead of the MLB logo it has the NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball - Japan's MLB) logo instead.

Tip: If you want real Japanese gear, don't buy it from an American brand.   For authentic Japanse gear, use Belgard, Mizuno, SSK, Zett, etc. as they're actually made over there.  Belgard actually hand-crafts everything, that's part of why it takes longer to get.
