Bases Loaded 2 outs ball hit to outfield

Question
Guest Ben C
The other team had bases loaded with two outs. The batter hit the ball into the outfield. The center fielder got the ball and threw out the runner from first at second for a force at second. The runner from third scored before this happened. The umpire ruled that it was a base hit that then to a fielders choice. This means they counted the run. I’m under the impression that no runners can score with two outs and there is a force play made. Does this change when the ball is hit to the outfield without being caught?

You've got it. No run can score if the third out is a force out, no matter the situation.
