It's been brought to my attention via a private message from BT_Blue that the person who posted a picture of themselves with the new Reeboks on was NOT POSTED on this site, ....it was posted on his Facebook page.  (Thanks Arik! :D)

Therefore, ...revealing the reason why no one could find this picture.

All inappropriate, and unrelated posts that got this thread sidetracked yesterday have been deleted, including mine.

For those who have the ALL BLACK, can you post a nice close up shot?  All of the 'stock' photos look so much more "dull" than the black/white versions?

Also, ... has anyone heard anything else on the different color combos of the Zig as discussed on page 3 or 4 of this thread?

ON EDIT: This is a decent shot:

Mine (all black) will be here tomorrow. I'll try to post a couple of pics over the weekend if nobody else has.

Please!  Thanks!   The Reebok stock photos of the all-black version look "brown" .........

Has anyone else had an issue with the top eyelet on their magistrate plates shoes failing?

Very Nice Mike! Plus I like that you call nothing but strikes!!! :notworthy:

The shoes, man. It's the shoes. Click your heels 3x pregame and say, "There's nothing but strikes! There's nothing but strikes!"

After watching the video, I am reminded that noone gives a S**T about our shoes but us. The "fugly all white" shoes are NOT a neon sign and had I not been looking specifically FOR them, would barely have noticed them.

Umps are all OCD!

One set of "all-black" pics. The fit well and of course they're pretty stiff, but that'll get a little better as I break them in. They look like they'll clean up pretty well, but between the tread and sole, where those up-and-down zigzags are, are holes go all the way under the shoe starting at the arch and getting larger going back to the heel. I can see these will be great hiding places for dust or mud and may require a little extra time for cleaning, but not a deal breaker. You'll be a little taller too... the heel with the tread/cleat is a little over an inch. The Reebok lettering on the toe and heel is dark, silver-gray color that seems to get brighter under the sun. I'm debating whether or not to carefully Sharpie it out. If I was getting paid to advertise for them...

Look good. Glad I'm going to get a pair of these. And the insignias don't bug me at all. This Zig design could be a problem, especially here in the very wet Pacific Northwest.

Is it me.... or does the metatarsal guard look to big for this shoe? I know the new zig shoe is more narrow than the old Magistrates, but it looks like they did not change the sizing of the metatarsal gurad to fit this new shoe design. I wouldn't be surprised if it starts dragging on the ground the more these shoes get broken in.

From pictures I would agree. I have not seen them in person. It will be interesting to find out.

compare Hickman's pics (worn and tied) to SD's pics (not worn or tied).

I had them on and tied a little later after I took the pics, and the guard moves just a fraction higher. Bottom edge is even with the top of the tread/sole. I haven't started my breaking in phase yet, but it doesn't look like the guard will drag.

I'd rather have a little too much protection down there than less.

This thread deserves a name-change.  Only took a few pictures and weeks to change our minds  =)

After seeing Hickman's pictures I'm kind of wishing I would have gotten the black/white plate shoes.  It is a lot of white but they look pretty sweet.
