Question
sd181612
I'm watching the Astros/Angels game and Valbuena hits a ball towards right field. To me it appears that it hit the yellow line,; Davis called it a home run. Review ensues, call's overruled, double. Isn't the yellow line considered to be out of play therefore a homer? Thanks.

All yellow lines are re IN play. Standard MLB groundrule.

Did the ball pass out of the perpendicular extension of the bottom of the outfield fence? Where did it go after it hit whatever it hit?

Saw this finally - trying to go to sleep, watching the game, it sits about 10-15' higher above a scoreboard/ad. Looks like if it doesn't clear the Yellow, it's in play.
