1) How did he get number 2 ??

2) Is it me, or is his actual stance strange?

Jerry Crawford was #2 so thwe number was available.

The stance does look awkward, but I don't recall that as being his typical stance.

As for the call I cant see a thing wrong with it.

After surfing and reading around from others why don't you bring in the the normalized strike zone chart for Bellino for this whole game. Don't look to bad to me for the whole game. Don't think anyone can scream like the Red Sox about this plate job. The 2 biggest strike misses may not have even been on the 3rd strike anyway. You could probably find that out also.

After surfing and reading around from others why don't you bring in the the normalized strike zone chart for Bellino for this whole game. Don't look to bad to me for the whole game. Don't think anyone can scream like the pansy Red Sox about this plate job. The 2 biggest strike misses may not have even been on the 3rd strike anyway. You could probably find that out also.

I checked back on every at bat to Aviles. Bellino did not miss one call on any pitches to Bellino. IN fact teh very close borderline pitches...that could have maybe been called strikes (as they were probably a fraction of the diameter of the ball form the zone) they were called balls. Any close call went to Aviles. So I have no idea why he was crying.
