Okay, I did it.  I have un-retired.  I thought I was ready to walk away, but I can't, so I'm back.  I already have 25-30 games scheduled for High School.

Oof, start up prices are killer though when you've sold all your gear thinking you were done.   But, I'll make enough in HS to hopefully break even and then any Summer ball can be actual income.

I need baseball though for many things. To keep me moving (active), for the camaraderie with my peers (you guys!) and for the interaction with the kids. 

And did I mention the love of the game?  There's nothing quite like a beautiful day finding you on your feet and umpiring a good baseball game!

@wolfe_man, so low cut V3's with Force 3 shin guards...have you used this combination previously? I wear mid-cut V3's with Force 3 shin guards and like the overlap and protection while still maintaining flexibility and mobility. Thoughts?

@wolfe_man Glad you're back (never really left)!!!   So, if the bad side of this was the "total bill", the good side would be that you have enough experience with many different items of umpire protection equipment, that, you knew what you wanted.  Think about the new guy that comes in here and says, "what kind of (insert item here) should I get"?  a week later, he is no better off ! 🙃

I wasn't sure if you meant deflated footballs and then denied it or...cried to the refs anytime someone touched you...fumbled a football and still claim you tucked it...told your wife you were retiring from football, then came back and played football, then got divorced because you lied to your wife about retiring from football and THEN retired from football or...you know, there's just so many "pulled a Brady" definitions, it's hard to know...🙄
