What surprises me is the ankle bone protection. I expected more, something similar to the WV pro or platinum shin guards.

The Unequal Chest Protector, built to protect collarbones, vital organs, etc does not have plastic on it, yet, the leg guards have plastic :shrug:

I had a chance to see these during this year’s NCAA clinic. If I remember correctly they will be priced somewhere between $125-$175 as far as the bump on the sides,  there is some reinforced plastic type material underneath the padding, atleast this is how it is on the wilsons. Im not 100% sure it will be this way on the Force3's but likely.

Will have to use a purchasing service to order them from Japan. I ordered mine from Amazon.jp. They have a good purchasing service. They run about $155. I may have an extra pair available if your intrested. Let me know...

As a proud owner of the Unequal CP, I am going to pass on the shins. I have very pleased with my WV Platinum Shinguards and see no reason to change.

People are asking about why the plastic on the outside. The wow factor. I've never in my life seen shin guards without hard plastic on the front. Unequals have kevlar in them and are supposed to be very thin and light. This is from Jason. I don't know a lot of people buying chest protectors without hard plastic on the outside, yet I went my first four with a +Pos and never has any issues with being hit. For some reason my brain is conditioned that I have to have hard plastic on the shin guards.

Abua just sent me an email this morning. The shins can be preordered for $99.95 by Oct 31st with a ship date in November. They come in 3 sizes (14.5,16.5 & 18.5). You can also package an Unequal CP for an additional $150.

Took a pitch directly off the knee of my diamond featherweight shins today. Didn't hurt, but cracked the knee plate in half. Figured that's a pretty good sign it's time to upgrade. I'll give these new force three a try. Only problem is there's only one more week left here in the northeast, so they won't see a game until sometime in March  :(
