    I just sent my Wilson WV Gold chest protector hard-shell plates off to Michael for a Chicago-Nut upgrade and overall freshening up of the chest plates - once I get it back I will post before and after pictures

    My first plate shoes were the mu450’s and I wore them for almost 10years. They started off fairly heavy, but very protective, and when I hung em up in the garage, they had gained weight -lol. I replaced them with the mu460’s v1, and sincerely, I think you would be happier and likely more successful in finding the 460s. If you can find em, the 460’s are going for $80-$90. The 460s are quite a bit lighter, and more comfortable than the 450’s. I am not a huge fan of the 460’s v3, estetically, but they are the latest and greatest available. Good luck in your search.

    If you are a member, the ABUA version is the best price @ $16.95 each, in red, white, black, & navy. otherwise, the Jim Evans, ABUA, & Honigs are all $20.00 each not many other options that I have been able to find.

    Hey Kyle - yes - I had my champro magnesium mask stripped and custom powder coated - in your back yard (San Marcos) - no problems what so ever! I think the key is talking to who ever is doing the work ahead of time. agreed - I think the champro mag is the best rig available - light, durable, and loaded with team Wendy's pads, the best setup in my opinion. feel free to contact me - I was at RBV a few weeks ago, and I have a few more games near you in the next few weeks - would be happy to discuss any questions you might have.
