For plate games I have been wearing ump attire ever safe socks. For bases I wear a Under Armor crew length moisture wicking sock. About $6 a pair from Academy Sports, the ump attire are $10 a pair. No problems from either this year, and comfortable.

I got some Louisville Slugger baseball socks Im wearing behind the plate and they are terrible!!!! Are the Force 3s still most guys favorites?

Just like @MT_Blue , I prefer UnderArmour All-Sport / Soccer / Football socks. Snatch them up from T.J.Maxx for $4 a pair.

I wear a Nike dri-fit over the knee soccer sock.  They are thick, but surprisingly cool as well.  I wear a standard compression jock so the over the knee is essential for me.  Mine were $12.99 a pair at a local sporting goods store.

I just bought a new brand last night. Test drove them today. They have built in arch support and are very comfortable. 2pr of SofSole (makers of shoe inserts) over the calf socks for $6.99 @ Academy. I WILL be buying more.

I got two pairs of the under armour heat gear boot socks I like them a lot. Will get the force 3 next.
