Two different plays, I think that was a great call. Ben started his side to the bag and couldn't get out of the way or stop his momentum.

Great move by F2 shifting to his left and throwing behind the batter.  We all know how many coaches would whine about a right-handed batter "not getting out of the way" on a throw to 3B.

Or, the oblivious batter would be stepping out after each pitch, including this one, and actually getting in the way.
