that's not a strike in HS ......... sorry ........ I DO VERY MUCH like the way Wolcott handled Cabrera ....he let him have his say, ...told him that's enough and kept him in the game ...... Your browser does not support iframes.

This is mild, but still ........ you can't throw your stuff after a called strike 3, have it hit the umpire, then expect to stay in it ..... how many times has Napoli done this and been tossed ?? Your browser does not support iframes.

obviously this has to do with words exchanged after pitches Kinsler didn't like ......but it doesn't appear anything was said after his fly-out when he breaks his bat ....... EJ? Your browser does not support iframes.

WOW .... these announcers are total fricken idiots!! No surprise, just sayin! http://m.mlb.com/video/v36128785 Now ... this is even funnier. "I said it to myself" .... yet, you can see Lackey's head move before Hallion gives him the hook, so no John, ...you didn't just "say it to yourself" http://m.mlb.com/video/v36142781

This is an interesting turn of events. What is called a double play on the field is challenged, and the out at first is overturned. Farrell w/ an EJ after the overturn! Now, I know this is a banger/whacker, and it's probably impossible to hear this, but ....did you notice the sound you got out of the mic's in the bases on the play at first? Cool, eh? http://m.mlb.com/video/?content_id=32071445&topic_id=vtp_review&query=yankees challenge call at first

Guys: I had not umped much for a 25 year stretch while I was coaching so I can't even remember my last EJ. However the past 18 months I've been back at it hot and heavy. My 2014 game count is up to 76 games. !0U Tournament ball, (I know, I know), catcher just lost his mind. DT is getting whacked, he makes an error and just spikes the ball in anger with a runner on base. I told him to knock it off then told HC that he needed to have a "conversation" with the kid and that I'd like to keep him in the game. Coach requests a DC and chews F2 out about his behavior. Next play R2 attempts steal of 3rd. Catcher fires toward 3rd and nails the batter in the shoulder with a throw. The hitter had not moved in the box so I had nothing. I was concerned however and asked my partner if he thought F2 had hit the batter on purpose. My partner told me he didn't believe it was done intentionally. Two plays later, after a couple more errors, F2 loses his temper again and slams his helmet down. I simply said, "Coach, bring me another catcher". A shouting match ensued in the dugout between the kid and his coaching staff. Later the HC informed me he was in complete agreement with the EJ. F2 was his son and he said it took great restraint for him to resist kicking the kids' butt right then. The kid ejected himself but I am concerned that I should have done it sooner. My partner said he would have tossed the kid after he spiked the ball. While I'm not sure he hit the batter on purpose with his throw to 3rd, he was clearly not in control of himself and someone could have been hurt.

An example of a catcher causing a misinterpretation of a pitch ....... caveat: NOT saying Hallion is correct, just saying as we've discussed on here before, players can cause missed calls.......... http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=26683805&topic_id=&c_id=mlb&tcid=vpp_copy_26683805&v=3

I'm on the stick. R2. B3 ropes one into LC. F7 missed cutoff. R2 rounds 3B and digging for home. Throw pulls F2 up the line. I see the train wreck about to happen and key on how R2 handles it. Sure enough, he braces for impact and lowers his shoulder. Badda-bing-badda-BOOM. There was some chirping from Little Johnny's (his name was, get this, Blaze) grandma. Oh, and since they had no more subs, guess what happened :D
