Not to steal this thread but....

Here's another player is thinking it's ok to throw equipment. Lesson here is, handle your business so no one else has to! He's obviously gotten away with it before so he thinks it's ok.  I didn't know who this guy was before the video but he definitely didn't earn a fan tonight in attacking the umpire's personality and belittling him by saying "no one cares that you're back there calling balls and strikes."

You haven't heard of Puig?  That's all I heard about after his call up and I'm on the opposite coast from him.

Jordan was talking about Loney of the Rays.

anyone else interpret the bat just slipping from his hand as he lifted his arms in frustration?

not saying in anyway he should have not been tossed for standing there for the time he did in an obvious way to show his disagreement.

You're starting to sound like a fanboy.

And, even if it was at his own frustration, he still deserves to be tossed.  As I have pointed out to more than one coach / player (in multiple sports), "You are entitled to your opinion, but you are still responsible for your actions."

I'm no Puig/LAD fan.  Want to call me a fanboy, fine, as I stated, not saying he didn't deserve to be tossed for his actions, nor do I disagree with him being tossed.  I'm simply offering a opinion on what I see.  IMO, a "toss" of the bat would have been much more demonstrative (ie Loney in the other EJ thread) that what I see happen here.  I put it to you that maybe seeing through another's eyes could offer a alternative interpretation.
