Ok, so after a few issues with Team Wendy and having to have it redone to my specification.  I now have my love back.  And man do I love this set up! Wilson Platinum with delta flex and team wendy cus

All of this posting about the Team Wendy retrofit is making me wish I had held on to my WV Gold. I sold it because I had not worn it in a year...although I got enough money out of it to almost buy a new one.

I will certainly be doing this with my Douglas after next season. I plan on wearing it and my Unequal most of the time. I wore the UE for a D-3 College game on Saturday. It is very comfortable. I did not take any shots, but I really like the feel and it is not hot at all.

please keep us updated on the UE performance

Wore my UE again this weekend and didn't get touched.

The thing is a ball repellant.

Let's keep this thread going with Team Wendy information guys.

There's already a thread with TONS of information on it regarding the UE CP ....

IOW... Knock it off? Lol.

So I'm considering sending my AS System 7 to TW. Since all the padding is removable via velcro, would you think they need the whole CP or just the stock pads? Is Zorbium padding washable?

everyone else is doing golds. I gotta be an individual. Hell, maybe send in my $50 P-210. Clean the "Champion" off the front and have the TW logo silk screened on it.

Go look at a picture of a Riddel Power , then look at your P210 .... TWs Riddel padding will definately fit!

Ive noticed a few MLB guys who wore the Gold & looks like they had the TW pads retrofitted onto theirs - much much more low profile and slim appearance. The two I noticed were O'Nora & Hoye.

Here is my west vest gold retrofitted with team wendy pads.

Is that a M/L Gold? It looks like the TW pads add a good inch in length, is that about right?

Got my WV Gold retrofit back from TW yesterday :nod:

The TW padding on my WV Gold, reminds me of my Riddell Power. Retrofitted WV Gold is really low profile like the Power, but much more protection than the Power. Can't wait to wear the retrofitted WV Gold in action. :yippie:

I also bought the Delta Flex from UA, but am trying to decide whether to put it on my newly retrofitted WV Gold now, or wait until after I have worn the retrofit with the original harness. :jerkit:

Any thoughts from those of have the retrofitted WV Gold about whether you prefer the original harness to the Delta Flex? :question1:

Regardless of what padding you have on your CP, ...the Delta Flex will make your CP fit better, closer and more secure :D

The top straps on the Delta Flex seem too short. Looks like I'll have to sew them onto the existing WV Gold top straps.

I do agree the lower plastic clips on the Delta Flex can be easily removed and the metal clips on the WV Gold slid onto the Delta Flex straps.

I do agree the lower plastic clips on the Delta Flex can be easily removed and the metal clips on the WV Gold slid onto the Delta Flex straps.

The Delta Flex will make your CP fit appropriately ...which is up high....

That's what I did with the delta used to have on a gold. I sold the gold to buy an unequal. Kinda wish I would have kept it and tried this TW thing out. Sounds cool.

No,

I'm saying that the DF should fit a Gold. I haven't heard of one not fitting, but I don't own a Gold either

Just got my WV (old Wilson) back from TW. Really nice. They did a great job.

Picking up the CP I notice it is heavier, but that's not noticeable when wearing.

The fit is nice, and I don't mind the pad being a little longer (makes it more of a 13 than a 12).

Only gripe is the waist strap is a little short...but that's fixable.
