I just asked for the separate piece of extension.  No stock in Wendy!  Maybe just ask for the "Slope Special" and attach the pictures that I posted her in your email request.  If they cant do it, you could always have your local tailor sew a "loop" section of velcro on the bottom of your protector and then buy a 4" or 6" extension from ebay which comes with the "hook" section of velcro attached.  Baffled why Wilson doesn't offer an extension as an option with new purchase.  I think a lot of umpires would choose it.  Tough it out and be hurt stupid or be a smart pussy and be protected!

I don't think they should offer an extension.  Waste of money, R&D time, & marketing. 

 

Proper stance should eliminate the need for what many of you feel that you need.  

 

Your mileage may obviously vary.  I've been hit there before and it is what it is.  Working the plate means you're going to get hit and sometimes it's going to hurt.
