My son and I went to KISS in Indianapolis for the final tour. Great show. Saw them last in 1979. It was the best combination of a fireworks show and concert. Nothing better than a concert with your kids. We had/have tix for Springsteen in Philly

I’ll make it 5. It’s my go to when I know I’m going to see real velo. I like the Douglas, I trust the Adams but, I go into battle with the Cobalt. Just s as confident feeling. I felt the same about the S7.

Since then I have bought the All Star. I Can't help myself. I really like that one too. Once I got it dialed in, it fit really well and gives a better sense of protection than the Douglas.

Because these are the same people that still have navy shirts as the prescribed color. There’s got to be something in the water.

To me this feels a lot like the 1963 Corvette split window coupe. Everyone wants one because they can’t get one. If you want it and can get it good for you.

If was only the old Plus POS Zero Gravity frame with the TW pads. that frame was very close to the Nike Icon. I never liked the shape of that Honigs frame. It only worked well with their pads. It actually might work well with the All Star Mag pads too.

I have one with a chopped TG if that would work. Let me know. I have the harness but no pads. -
Another fine job by Tony at Mask-It Sports. The original silver was showing its age. Went with the matte black after seeing @Rock Bottom mask above. All ready for Spring!!

We all know about the “unicorn” chest protectors. Riddell and All American come to mind. What are the equivalents in face masks?

Easy. Find some golf shoes. I have a pair of Adidas spike less shoes that I will use on those days. I hate cold wet feet.

We have done this for several years. Works great. It’s a rule. It’s as enforceable as any other rule.

I have 3 pair of plate shoes and 5 pair of base shoes. You are making me feel like Imelda Marcos!!

Never had LASIK but I’ve done the mono vision with contacts for 10 years. I absolutely love it. I hated readers/cheaters. It took a couple of weeks to adjust but once it did I’ve never looked back.

I was half watching this and thought its a bold fashion statement that CB was rocking the red Rawlings titanium. Next time I looked up from my book, it was gone like magic. FWIW, I really like my chopped Adidas with the SG shovel TG. Couldn’t chop a Nike and risk the ire of @MadMax as others have done.

Welcome to the Team Cyborg Ump. Got my membership in 2020 with double total knee replacement. Never missed a game (thanks to Covid). Mine have been nothing short of amazing. I hope your surgery goes great. Rehab is worth every drop of sweat. Best of luck to you @MadMax

I got the mother lode this season after my Diamond bag started to fail. Had it +10 years dragging it in and out of the back of a pick-up. No complaints. I like the Mother Lode and find it just fine. I've had to change some packing practices but, overall I am very pleased.

They are super comfortable. I wear them as a turf only shoe. I forget which model. The traction isn’t there for me on a grass field.

https://www.nike.com/t/air-jordan-11-cmft-low-mens-shoes-XP9Ng3 These are pretty sweet. It would be a “nice field” only shoe though.

Of all things to address this is what they chose? Please tell me there is more coming.

Maybe this is part of the problem? (recent NASO advertisement...)

This might just be the single worst message of “support” I’ve read. -
Warn, Restrict, Eject. The rulebook is your friend. Look at it this way. By allowing it, you are assuming the liability for their behavior, What is it worth to YOU and your family to allow them to be there? Your car? Your life savings? Your house?

I will say that IMO, the toughest levels to learn at are the younger levels. ANYTHING can and will happen. They are inconsistent and unpredictable. It will teach you to not anticipate or take for granted any play. Working alone makes it doubly harder. I will offer to also find a mentor to talk you off the ledge/out of the tree after s really rough game. Welcome to the club.

Picked up a pair of these last week and wore them for the first time this week. These are the real deal!!! Bought through Purchase Officials with our association discount. Light and comfortable. Shine up nice. I agree the laces are junk. I swapped the inner soles out (I always do). May not be great on muddy fields. The fact that they seem 1/4 lb lighter will be nice on those back to back summer plates. Haven’t taken a hit yet. I was mostly concerned about the catcher stepping on them.
