I recently bought 2 sets of pants. 2 base and 2 plate. I took them to the tailor and only tried one set on for hemming. It turns out that somehow a size 38” was in the 34” package. I discovered this at the game. I emailed UA on Saturday night. Courtney replied Sunday morning to say they were shipping a new pair and to donate the other pair of pants. Found a first year guy that can use them. This is why they are the best. Thanks UA.

I have a pair of Adidas Response golf shoes that I have exactly for this purpose. A great $65 spent. Wet and cold feet are not fun.

I hear that. Prior to my double knee replacement I used to start the inning inning in A and once the first runner reached 1B stay in B and C for the remainder of the half inning. Having R3 score on a 2-2 wild pitch getting back to A to only come in one pitch later was a killer. I think this modification has some merits in some situations.

For $385 I might have undecorated my existing rig.

I’ve considered this too. More with the F3 and AS MAG masks. We have a few here and they are positive about it. I can only recall a couple time that I got hit where the helmet would have mattered.

I clean it after every game. This is a deep deep clean.

With the end of the season I’ve been deep cleaning my gear. It’s amazing to me how much dirt mask pads, shin guards and plate shoes accumulate over a season. I vow to no longer hold my mask out like a collection plate for dirty baseballs.
