Excellent call!  No need to argue.  3B coach should have just saved his manager the trouble of getting ejected with a quick word with him.

If the replay is CORRECT, Manager apologizes ..........

If the replay is INCORRECT, the umpire apologizes ........

 

95% of the time, that's going to be a manager's trip! LOL :D

Great call great positioning. From his angle when the play was made he had a great view. 

 

Also look at about 1:35 of the video look at the hustle it takes to get from your typical D position to that position and be set like Marquez was. He has pretty much the text book 90 degree angle. He wasn't sprinting, but properly hustling to be in the optimum position for the call. 

 

Had he stayed at the D position he wouldn't have seen it as the runner would have blocked the bag and he wouldn't have seen the catch.
