  1. Don't know if you still have this or not, but I have a System 7 that I have worn about 3 times that I would be interested in Trading with you. Let me know!
  2. Lighten' up Francis...

    Balk?

I don't know how you don't have a balk here(unless you're an umpire who wears his hat backwards on the plate...) Is it hard to balk to second?--Yes. BUT you can't 'Crow-Hop' your pick-off throw there...
  4. ***PICTURES TO COME SOON*** I've got a pair of NB 460's Black/White Size 11.5 4E That I have worn 2 times. They will ship to you in the original box. Looking for $90.00 shipped. You can PM or respond to this...
  5. How do you not have a problem with it? That is the definition of 'Tic-Tac' He was safe, and is safe... Besides that, with all the problems that replay has had this year, they will overturn THAT play? It's stupid.
  6. It amazes me sometimes the BS that some of you guys 'worry' about... Truly there is no need to insert yourself! And if a kid takes a bat to the back of the melon, that isn't your problem either! Some things are better left alone.
  7. You're most likely not going to find any supporters of what you're asking here. And I'm certanitly not one either. Why on God's green infield would you even want to consider getting involved in that? She wasn't doing anything wrong, and simply giving 'information' that could be seen by anyone at the park. Move along, and don't over think something like this...There is nothing for you to do here.
  8. Not a Damn thing.
  9. Teddy got in there QUICK! I'd calm down pretty fast too with Ted Barrett standing in front of my face.
  10. Simple Answer: YES. Additional Info: Yes, I believe that the catcher did want to hit him with his throw. NO, it was not for MC reasons, or to hurt him or anything like that. It was simply to get a call to go his way. Period.
  11. So then what your saying is this crew got it wrong? Because he wasn't EJ'd.
  12. Warnings would be issued. and it would also depend on what happens, does the catcher take one off his ass, or does the pitcher try to stick it in his ear?
  13. Okay, fine...But I'm looking at it for what it is and the level at which it is, and there are Gentlemen on here saying they would have EJ'd at that(AAA) level...Not a snowballs chance in hell I'm EJ'ing him at that level...Play Ball!
  14. The fact that it was a 'Dick Move' has no bearing on an EJ. There are Dick Moves in 90% of the games I do. The catcher tried to gain an advantage, it didn't work. It's nothing, it sucks for the batter--Yes. But it's not that different than going in hard on a slide or laying a tag down in a guys face...And you don't EJ on that.
  15. I've got to say, I'm a little befuddled at how many guys would 'dump' him for this. I don't see it as being eject-able. Stupid, YES! But not anything that warrants an EJ. It wasn't MC in my opinion, just a catcher trying to get a call...Which he never will get. Although and I say this very loosely(and I'm not convinced myself) I guess some credit for trying?...

    VISIT?

FED RULES: In-Between Innings, the First Base coach(who happens to be the teams Pitching Coach) Is coming across the field from 1st. He stops and grabs the ball off the mound and waits for his pitcher to get out there(Waited roughly about 15-20 seconds) Pitcher gets out there and he and his coach talk(on the mound) for about 20-25 seconds on how to attack the first 3 hitters. Coach pats him on the ass and walks away. Do you have an official visit on this?
  17. Nothing wrong with that slide... That was completely legal, and at an MLB level exactly what is supposed to be done.
  18. Dave, Thanks! I agree with you...I like what I see and have read about the cup, and I don't feel I need to grab either of MMA's harnesses. I currently have a rotation of about 4 pairs of Nike compression's that I use that all have cup pockets, so knowing that this will fit into that is a great selling point for me! I'm thinking that my boy's may be getting a new friend soon!
  19. Okay @Majordave Question for you...Do you feel that this bad boy would fit into just about any Jock Cup Pocket?
  20. I think Fredi might have had a decent beef... Don't get me wrong, it's Spring Training so who gives a rip....
  21. Cheers to you for teaching your players this!... In my opinion, this guy was a Tool. I'm not wishing ill on him, but Karma's real--and she's a fickle lady.
  22. Would this be "The" Same miss that I'm thinking about???
  23. The best part if the whole thing was the SS (who laid the tag down) was so confused as to why I was making the call... He looked from me back to Thunder about 3 times and you could see his wheels turning "where the hell did you come from...? He told me he got the tag down in time, and I told him it was close but it was a great slide, and the runner most definitely stuck it!...as I'm jogging back to home and get to the circle the HC comes out to check with me, (just to see what I had)and as he does he tells me he wanted to make his team think he was checking, BUT really just wanted to say "great hustle, and great call..." We had the same team a day later for a DH and he still couldn't get over how flawless the rotation was... Gives me an umpire-boner
  24. Had a coach in a tournament who's actual name was Frosty Brown. Guy must have been 85 years old and he coached old school. It was great... Oh and no BS in 8th grade my math teachers husbands name was Harold Dicks and he went by Harry...She brought us in a copy of his license to prove it.... If anyone is looking for some good reads in their 'down' time, a couple of my favorites: 'Yellow River' by I.P. Freely & 'Sliding Down a Rope Naked' by Dick Burns
  25. I believe that this "umpire"must travel... He has to be a nomad who just gets assignments across the country to keep us on our toes...Hell he might work for the government or even be a KGB officer! I'm telling you this man has made appearances in Michigan, and I know I've played in tourneys in multiple states where he was on the field too!
