Ok, I did this the last couple of seasons, so I figured, hey, why not! :D

For most of us, the season is over and what we have left is to watch the World Series! It's also a time to ponder, and start considering what we need and/or want for next season. I hate to say it, but Christmas won't be too far off, and gift-certficates really come in handy! So, ...what's on your list?

And, in years passed we've broken them down into wants and needs ..........

I'll start! :D

Needs:

-An additional pair of base pants

-Base shoes

-Navy Therma Base for HS games

-New black caps

Wants:

-additional lenses for my Split Jackets

Most of the stuff on my list actually broke down to 'needs' ............... so far! :wave:

Does anyone else thing the Zigs will clog with mud?

Good to know those non-Oakley lenses are okay. I'll order some for some frames I have laying around. Polarized lenses are the way to go.

A father and son umpire team (he's a Navy vet) wear matching American flag jerseys from TOC. Kinda corny, but I've never heard a more positive reaction from players/coaches/fans. Not even for our pink jerseys, which are a big hit at the Little League parks. I'll probably get a few of those for my crews.

I'll probably upgrade my shin protectors. I've been using ice hockey official ones, made by Bauer. They've served me well. Light, comfortable, velcro straps, and great knee/shin protection (and dirt cheap). But I got nailed last weekend, at the gap between the shoe and protector. Gotta find a solution for that.

More Adidas ClimaCool socks and mocks.

This time of year I make a bag of all the stuff I'm going to give to Junior umpires, and start digging around for newer gear. I might try an All Star c/p.

  • New Charcoal plate pants - NJ has finally gone charcoal for baseball...I got my base pants PW from U-A...will get my plates there also.

I need a new black plate lid, new base wheels (literally ran the Under Armours into the ground), and if I receive a National next year, new heather grey pants.

I want a Majestic cool base jacket in black and one of the new shirts. I hope the funds are available for the plate coat as now is an appropriate oppourtunity for the (impending) graduation-present-to-self. I would love a Nike mask as well but unfortunately whenever one pops on E bay, the seller is never willing to ship it to Canada.

I need pants. Washing them 6 nights a week, kills em.

I need new Chest protecter, not sure yet what one.

I'm good on shin guards, nitty buddy and cool weather gear.

Oh, TW pads on a new mask.

Another pair of plate/combo pants, All-Star shin guards, Champro or Diamond travel bag, a couple more shirts.

Oh yea, and a wife that doesn't nag me about doing more than 2 games a week.

Nutty buddy with compression shorts (Took a hit in a mens league last year that left me almost vomiting it hit so hard)

New plate shoes

Want: Shin guards (System 7)

#'s on shirts

Proper base and plate pants (combos are great but, hey while we are dreaming a pony would be nice too)

New CP (honigs K1 is still doing its job very well, but I've had it for 4 years and I just want something new)

A 3/2/2 counter with a layout configuration that is comfortable
