I have a 14" Champro soft shell. I am 6'2" and weight 275 with a 32" inseam. So I am somewhat long torso'ed...The 14" CP I have hits me well below my ribcage. How far down does the 15" go on your chest...just to the bottom of your sternum or does it extend below that?

To be honest guys .... it doesn't really matter how much you weigh, or how tall you are ....because everyone is built different....

I'm 5' 11" 225 ish ......

here I am last July walking off between innings .... you can see the 15" doens't come THAT low on me ...

...mmmmm I though you were more like 265!

When I removed instep plate from the my wilson shin guards, I was able to leave the rivets in place. From the back, I drilled a small pilot hole down the middle of the rivet. I then used a larger bit to remove enough of the backside of the rivet so that I could pry the small washer off. Once the washer is off, the strap for the instep plate lifts right off. I used mill file to remove the sharp edges off the remaining part of the rivet, and then a ball pein hammer to round it over so the rivet would stay in place. The key to drilling the rivet is to go slow and steady with medium pressure. That will keep the heat down and should prevent any melting.

Can anybody post their thoughts on this compared to the Wilson Platinum? I have a new Platinum I bought on sale from Purchase Officials that I haven't used and am considering selling it and getting this instead.

Have you done a "SEARCH" within the equipment forum? I'm sure there may be 'something' there, ...if not, ...give it a minute....someone will chime in! :hi5:
