In our LL District Tournament we've mostly been wearing powder blue. Today for the Majors championship game, PU decided we should wear black. As we're walking onto the field, one of the coaches says to me, "You're wearing black today. Guess we can't call you 'blue'. Now what are we gonna call you?" Without hesitation I said, "Guess you're gonna have to learn our names, [called him by name]." 😁

When asked this question before about not being able to be called 'Blue' since we weren't wearing any blue, I always respond 'As far as you know.'

Up to this point, we really could (almost) be talking about umpires and coaches, but after this, it falls off the rails. However there are a few choice quotes that could still be relevant...

Years ago, we took a chance on the new with Cream colored shirts.  One of our JR umpires (softball player) asked that instead of Blue, if she was to call us Cream Puff.
