I actually messaged the guy selling the 10" Douglas and asked him to add a picture with a tape measure in front of it. It does appear it is 10". that's GOT to be a mistake!? nope..mine is a 10" as well... love it.. No, no, no .... wasn't referring to that .....thus, the red/bold print

Wore another guy's for a couple plate jobs on a trial run in my first year umpiring. Didn't buy it. But, it is a very protective piece of equipment. I recommend it for our Canadian and northern geography umpire brothers. The guy selling it is from Florida. Don't think he could give it away down there. Hahaha.

However, ...the regular Smitty Charcoal pants fit the bill nicely. They look nice, and last, and better, turn out great from right out of the dryer! 1
