I have both. TW wv gold and UE. I wore the unequal yesterday for first time. I removed the throat piece. I like the UE a lot. Only thing I don't like know is when I go to put my mask on the cp presses into my throat. The thing I don't like about the TW wv gold are the pec flaps will stick out. They r very similar. I think the UE is a snugger fit. The wv has the hard plates too which I think gives it more protection. I'm glad I have both.

A few things said on here have made me think about a old line my father used to say when he was umpiring more regularly. "The lower the level of play...the more protection you need!!"

Again was hit today while wearing my UE chest protector.  HURT LIKE HELL.  Didn't come any where near the UE, but my thigh should be alright after icing it.

Ok, I have been wearing both and a new 'comfort' up date is needed. The WVG TW, my old reliable is still that. A very comfortable CP for my body style. It is also a more slimmer profile look than the UE. The UE is a tad bit more bulkier. It is also 'slightly' pinching my neck but nothing to make me modify or sell, just that I feel it if I don't wear a mock. The UE is 'warmer' and I definitely sweat more in the UE. I do need to order a All Star harness for better comfort for the UE. The WVG TW has one and therefore has a slight advantage

 

I am still glad I have both and plan to continue to keep switching them up as the mood hits me.

 

The UE shins are the BEST I have ever used. You forget you have them on.

This umpire wears a UE chest protector, shin guards and usually the Force 3 mask.  I just wanted to wear something different that day, so wore a Wilson titanium.  Honig's pw pants and shirt, with NB plate shoes.

​That would be me in the picture and can't get a grip on how a WV is less of a profile than the UE I am wearing in this picture.  As for my stance, an IBB was being issued to load the bases.  It worked as they got out of the inning on the first pitch to the next batter..  This was a dream game.  Both starters pitched complete games, no errors and only 2:04 for a nine inning game.  I've had musch faster 9 inning games, but I can't remember one where both pitchers completed the game and there were no errors.  A pretty important game as these teams were tied for first in their conference with only 3 games remaining.  Second game was 21-7 and the final deciding game was a 1-0, 12 inning affair.

I've worn my UE with the DF harness for 6 games now and I LOVE it!  Now, it's true I have not taken a shot yet, but it has already started to fit perfectly against my now-svelte body.  As for the shins, I have taken a couple of shots and felt only the movement of the shin against my leg, otherwise nothing.  If and when I take a shot to the chest with my UE on, I will definitely post my review, but so far so great!

Update on the UE - Tonight I DID take a shot, but it was to the shoulder caps, and it felt no different than any other CP I've worn with the plastic caps...

​LOL...yeah I wore that same WVG in a major motion picture too......my whole body was a lot slimmer back then so I didn't need a slimmer profile...lol.

​So, I'm right.  It would have to be retrofitted.  I didn't realize that because I didn't take the time to read the other 453 pages full of posts on this topic. Ha

I wore my UE for the second time. Feels much better after second time. I like how the flaps don't stick out like the wvg TW does sometimes. They both are similar. The UE is more form fitting. I like both.

The Rawlings TI is EXTREMELY light. I picked up a catcher's Rawlings a couple weeks ago and it was like holding a paper clip.

The light weight is nice, but I really love how wide the bars are spread apart and thin which allows for much better vision. Another great feature is that they painted the inside bars black.

​The black actually does what is says it is designed for and that is cut down on glare.

After wearing my Unequal for two weeks with the delta flex harness I have decided to reattach the original harness and I must agree that I have it much tighter and form fitting than I could get it with the delta flex.  going to work my first plate this morning and see how it feels over the course of a full game.

I went with the Delta Flex on my UE. It is amazing. I will never switch back.

Thanks to all who posted pictures in this thread... I am likely soon to be in the market for a new CP and considering the positive feedback the Unequal seems to be getting, will definitely add it to my list of possibilities.

I have a relatively small frame and am looking for something that will protect me but not look like it is devouring me. My current CP seems a little large especially now that I have dropped some pounds :)
