  1. I won't do more than 3, period. I'm 54 which qualifies me as no longer being a spring chicken, er rooster. Personally I don't think you can be at your best when you do a lot of games in a row on a certain day. If you're talking about time limits, I don't like them. Not especially fair to the kids. Plus, not having a clock is one of the great things about baseball. It's not over until it's over. I do like the mercy rules that are in place at most tournaments.
  2. I can't see him taking a knee in this video, although I did see another one and he did take a knee. http://www.azcentral.com/sports/asu/articles/20130914asu-football-wins-in-bizarre-fashion-against-wisconsin.html
  3. That's a good catch by the umpires. Nobody gets suspends. Woot Woot
  4. I think the fan did touch it. Since it was a Cardinals home game and more then likely a Cards fan, not sure why they awarded Jay home. Certainly doesn't nullify anything. And I'm a die hard Cardinals fan.
  5. The way the straps are on the head. I don't think I would feel safe like that. Plus, why not adjust your current straps?
  6. Umpires are not allowed to have a sense of humor. Send John home.
  7. You see them getting together more and more. That is good.
  8. That's not even a tough call. Routine throw to first.
  9. Didn't realize that the east race was that close, much like the NL central. I love this time of year. Playoff runs, NFL and college football. Woot Woot
  10. 3-2-2 no need for anything else, unless you're running a scoreboard. And the one with the larger numbers
  11. And good job from Steve Smith telling him to get off the field.
  12. And I will purchase these.
  13. Zimmer is not a good fighter. Seems to always be thrown to the ground.
  14. I'm a Cardinals fan and it looked like a good ejection. I watched the game and if it had been a breaking ball another thing, but it was a fastball.
  15. I have both and love them.
  16. Let's see if this post holds once you take an uncaught fast ball to the chest..... It holds true. I've been hit, no big deal.
  17. I have an out
  18. Hands down interference.
  19. I feel I get a much better read and look at a play just a few feet off the line. I mean way better. And so does my dog. One bark for out, two for safe, growl for a warning, growl and bite for "you're outta here!"? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free At least somebody speaks dog.

  21. Never seen this happen before. Have had it happen in a game when the catcher hit the batter in the helmet. I felt it was a real cheap shot on the catcher trying to draw an interference call out of me. Some pissed off opposing players.
  22. I think you got it right and your partner should have read it a little better. I generally point at the PU when I hear him tell me he's at third or when he decides to go home. Not sure how others do it. I pregame that technique with my partner. Listen to Manny. Ha
  23. Wasn't that much of a pull. But you knew Yost wanted to get run, especially after 8 straight balls. Wow. MLB pitcher?
