This one has been asked here about 100 times if not more.. I will try and find a link to one of them I can tell you as a young ump (1st full year) a much older and more seasoned ump and I kicked this one so bad we even had the DA of our region give us the wrong answer. Its actually one of the examples in the LL rule book Here is one example of it.

I understand what you are saying, My feelings are if at the level I am at, with 8-10U I will stop early season games and chat with F3 and the coach ( or whatever fielder was the problem cause trust me its usually F3,F4,F6,F5 and then F2 or F1 in that order on the same LL homerun) But somewhere in the 2nd half of the season I stop talking to the players and start enforcing it cause how else are they at that point going to learn. 10-12U I give them 2 or 3 weeks of the season to chat with. Then its call it as I see it cause at their age they should know better and to be honest its 75% of them that do grasp it. 🤷♂️

Call this in LL on something blatant and you get a 50/50 from parents those who it was called for are all YAH! those against are like "WHAT!" Call it in LL on something a bit more less but Yes it was there ( IE a 1st baseman standing at the bag, on a line drive to the gap in left and they are in the runners path and the runner is forced to run around them while rounding 1st and heading to 2nd) I have called that at 12U you get "huh?" and "WTH" from everyone.

We just got 6-8 inches more snow LOL
-
So now I am curious what do they do about snow?
-

See you in April..

Thank you for sorting that out the language on it is awful how its worded.
-
Do they have district and state and regional and beyond tournaments for ages 4-7??
-
Well this is where a City cheated and got caught after.. LL's history is rampant with cheaters like that.
-
the second part I posted makes me think they once they hit 8 need to go back to their proper area. Unless I am mis understanding that.

As part of this strategic change, which is detailed in Little League’s Regulation II as found in the Little League Rulebook App, players League Age 8-16 as of the 2025 season (born on or before September 1, 2017, for Baseball or January 1, 2017, for Softball) will continue to utilize the current boundary requirement based on residency or school enrollment. Opportunities and waivers will continue to be available as an option for players should they be interested in switching leagues that are outside of these requirements, based on approval and potential stipulations from the Little League International Charter Committee. In an effort to assist these families at these youngest divisions to choose the best league for their situation, as well as to further support the administrative needs of our local league volunteers, Little League International will also be launching a Central Registration Platform, which will be mandatory for leagues to use starting with the 2025 season, at PlayLittleLeague.org.

Guys its only ages 4-7 After that it is still the normal rules as far as how the Districts have marked them up regarding schools or whatever. I assume its to keep families together while starting to play baseball. Meh means nothing to anyone really its not going to sway some district title or state championship or Regional etc etc.

Dang Mac prayers for a speedy but PROPER recovery... do what they tell you but do not push it so you hurt yourself and cause a more lengthy recovery.

I am wondering if LL covers this differently

I was lead to believe they cannot stand on the bag like a pole and need to "evade" in order to allow the fielder to field the ball. as in they are not entitled to the base like a batter is the batters box...
-
So just clarifying something. Is it also true that any runner must allow the fielder the room to catch the ball. ie they cannot stand like a pole on the base and presume they are safe from committing interference. They are allowed to move around said base so they can keep a foot attached to it. but they need to give the fielder room to catch the ball... least thats how it was explained to me with regards to runners and fielders on a pop up around a bag.

Any way to make this a Yearly sub? Not looking for a discount just would rather pay a Year at a time
-
runners lane rule change to me is BS.. Its been that way to protect the defence from jerks running into the throw forever now they give them MORE room to possibly interfere.. Just enforce the damn rule and make the runners learn dont run in the way of the ball being thrown.. Its not like its a serious disadvantage for the offense

I only work IT desktop support so my 1st question would be "Have you rebooted your machine yet?" -
Honestly the AS Cobalt CP I got was incredible for me and my body shape (round) The center pad I removed for heat when it got hot which gave me a channel down the middle which was nice and the pads were breathable. Maybe slightly thicker material on the hard skins for more rigidity? but that was also the nice thing about it was the flex of it. The older system 7 was thicker and it was a tank compared to the cobalt but it was also heavier and hotter. Sigh having only had those 2 plus a champion which had not plastic outer on it meh its tough to compare. maybe break up the pads into smaller clusters that give more channels of air breathable "ness"?

This was sold to me by a member here whom said he was "retiring" it had some used TW pads on it that I found stiff even when warmed up. Well he was recently looking for one so today I am sending it back to him with some silver AS LUC pads I essentially leased it from him for a season. Now I am sending it back at no charge to him as he is such an awesome guy and done so well with sales here I feel I do not want anything from him other than to use it and call them well. "Try not to suck!" @wolfe_man
