Might I suggest Grayhawk was merely being polite in an open forum instead of saying "F***t*rd" I mean not everyone is ok with fornicating engine brakes

I don't care unless the other umpire is VERY Jr. I will plate. Most of the time it also depends on the weather If it's above 85 I will beg off and take bags. 🥵

Has MiLB, NCAA, or anyone below that adopted the shift rule?

hmm you see recycling bin lid, to me I see a badge kinda like this one. No pun intended on the name on it. But it does kinda fit

As a previous Pitcher.. You were a catcher and you still don't know the strike zone? 🤣🤣😂
-
Guess I need to read up on it too.. does not seem to ever happen at my level but Im still wrapping my head around the fact its not, thinking huh? how could it not be.

I got a kid doing his best IDK pitcher imitation. He would not look at home until after he was coming out of set. 2 times I was jumping out hollering no pitch no pitch. Cause he was blowing the stop sign as I was holding it up for a kid grabbing the bat or whatever. I meant to chat with the coach about that after the game but the kid was only in 2 innings and that was early in the game and I forgot after.

Thank you both for the help I believe I am being scammed and placed 2 orders of 2 different products and both were charged the same amount with daily reoccurring fees. Which I disputed but good ole paypal says they are legit. Oh really that email attached to the account is not even a good email. Sigh well I hope at least my CC will ding paypal for it.

well here it is from the LL rule book where I am calling it from no where there does it say they cannot be on the grass or play deep on the infield and I say this because there are at least probably 1 or 2 times a game where a F4 or F6 may dive for a ball on the grass outside of the dirt ... which makes that an area "normally covered by"
-
Is this Legit? baseballbucketus.com I placed two orders and now Im getting billed from an email that does not exist with no actual invoice sent .

will the F3 visors work? looking at adding one to a new cage I got and well yeah title says it all. thinking either black or mirror or blued mirror
-
Yeah we were told this also ( Ie an infielder playing like a shift ) We were also told if an outfielder moved into the very short outfield like a shift position they were also considered an infielder for the purpose of IFF because IFF is there to protect the offense not help the defense.
-
But for OP yeah probably 1 in 8 games. We seem to have the situation come up to be possible probably 10 or more times a game however an actual fly ball in the infield is well rare as pastballs are like 80% of the time
-
🤨 A player with his heels on the outfield grass is still an infielder correct? I would go so far as to even say both feet on the grass within 3 feet or so of dirt.

Well my take was Hunter was a touch over all "sensitive" After dropping that comment he basically assumed anything from the dugout was good enough however his comment was directed at Aaron So, yeah to me that was a little premature. I get what you are saying about the Mgr OP but that also makes me think Hunter was also "light on the trigger" taking what you said and how I see it 1+1 =2 Now MLB backing up Hunter , yeah they should. Who knows whats being said behind closed doors though. Im also taking into effect what the fan reportedly said. It did not seem awful to me. If it was from the dugout.. meh so what move on. my 2 cents anywho I just think it looked bad for Hunter is all I am summarizing it as.

What level.. If this is below HS Make the call, call time and then get together with your partner and ask him what he had. If they are 100% sure reverse your call and move on. I personally would rather be wrong but fix the call and get it right than not at that level. HS and above if the DC does not ask it is what it was called and leave it at that. Unless he requests it but then you have every right to say Nope I got it. my 2 cents

Can you have a foul ball without it being counted as a swing?
ArchAngel72 replied to ArchAngel72's question in Ask the Umpire
SA you have done it again Sir Thank You! -
Runner who has already scored interferes with an umpire
ArchAngel72 replied to Little Ott's question in Ask the Umpire
Ah but chances are you saw him touch the plate but missed any chance of a tag. If you did not see it you cannot call it. /shrug plus recall there is no player interference on the umpire -
