I am not sure how sweat and cleaner effect them but I did get a used mask that had them. looked to be a year or so old and they were stiff also even when hotter. I just replaced them with a new set I had not used but purchased for another mask. Those unused were way more pliable. So meh maybe they do have a EOD after using them? /shrug

If that is the mask you sold me a while ago I will return it to you. aluminum mask I believe it was

I found TW pads were better for me at 70 degrees and above below that they were on the stiff side.

Can I toss an observation in ? player #25 is he not guilty of interference? he does inadvertently obstruct the catcher from a path to the runner.

I have seen balls come in behind the batter just glance off a "cheek" I call time and the batter tosses his bat and runs to 1st. Only to have both coaches say " That did not hit him" I clearly saw it and "heard" it. The kid at 1st yells to his coach in the dugout "coach that hit me" 10U you see some of the strangest darndest things

Heh I will add LL fall ball plenty of hoodies under game jerseys.. I tell the coaches thats considered to me as part of the uniform if it gets HBP time take your butt to 1st If it gets tagged on the base path and they are off the base "Out" Sit your butt down on the bench and complain to your coach as to why he sent you when he knew that 12u catcher had a lazar for an arm.

To me ordinary effort is they are ranging tracking the ball near underneath it. With this ball and how low it was that would be a spectacular play by a little league player probably a diving or low caught ball. just my opinion maybe your players at 10-12U are far better than the talent I see.

Rule 2.00 I do not see that as play of ordinary effort. Its a bloop pop up in "no mans land" that either F1 or F3 would have to make a heck of a play in order to catch most likely diving or close to it. So to me no not IFF worthy. My eyes my 2 cents

Well I have no IFF as there is no routine play. I do have INT on R1 and BR on F3. I admit I did miss the possible INT on F1. In the end though, Me having replay and slow mo. Just call it "foul" at least at the LL level.

So now watching more of the video I now see Interference on R1 and BR with regards to F1 fielding the flyball

No but the caught ball from the throw had no voluntary release. He slapped someone with the glove and dropped the ball.

So let me bring this into play. A catch has to have a voluntary release, yes? Is the idiot er I mean 1st baseman not in control of the ball and losing the tag of 1st base based on the drop of the ball? even though he attempted a tag? I mean I get it they tagged the bag with control of the ball.. To me the tag is a "separate play" which is completely unnecessary. How ever the language around what is or is not a catch and the maintaining control of it.. that to me is what "kinda muddies the water"
