The man played college football (lineman) at Syracuse and was drafted into the NFL. He had a career-ending injury and only played two games as a pro. Not much pussy there. Waht's the big deal, really? Your assn., board, chapter, whatever, gives #'s? Fine. If not, fine too. I think having a # lets people (fans, players, coaches) know that you've gone through some sort of vetting process, and that you have some knowledge of rules, mechanics and game management. You might have gone out and just bought random numbers, but perception is reality. And I still want to know if that's a lawn chair.
