What throat gaurd do you use with your All-Star Magnesium Umpire Mask?

Hi guys! I am looking to get a All-Star Magnesium Umpire Mask, but need a throat guard for it. So I was wondering what you guys use, and also if you do use one coudl you send some pictures/ Thanks everyone!

I love the Samurai TG’s with mine, can’t go wrong with the shovel or the wire TG!

My stuff is packed away, but I'll try to remember to dig it out for a photo.  

Don't care for the Mizuno logo in the middle, but it hasn't bothered me enough to do something about it.  I like the look of this with the ASM.

Maybe sharpie the Mizuno logo out, just a thought. I like to sharpie my logos out as you can see in my last post with the MAG mask, the bottom (Jaw) pad, I sharpied All Star logo out but kept the one on the top pad.

Thoughts on the grey/black mask pads with the grey frame. The one that wendelstedt uses? You guys fans?

@Umpiresrock74, a few years ago All-Star made a tubular metal throat guard similar to the 2nd image posted by @The Ripper which was designed for use with both the Mag and Steel masks. Colloquially, that throat protector is referred to as "the bird cage" and has now been discontinued. They pop up here and on EBay from time to time. I paid $50 each for 2 of them last year. I don't know why something so popular and still in demand was discontinued. It has a very unique and distinctive look and I get a lot of complements on mine.

I liked the combo. I use the SG shovel.  Since this pic I have powder coated the frame matte black.

Wendelstedt wear the AS MAG, silver frame, silver AS pads, and the Samurai TG ( Wire). Like the one in my early post, ( the TG that is not on my mask). and  a Blue AS visor.

When I have Tony powdercoat my mag (Carolina Blue) I'm going to have him do my Mizuno TG (similar in many respects to the AS TG) at the same time, then put a black Mizuno logo on it.

I'll make sure to post photos when it's done (probably not until February or March).

Wish I could take credit for the idea. But I bought it from Acpar that way. So all dye credit should go his way.
