EDIT:  Based on feedback below, I'm adding the name of the vendor:  All Sports Officials LLC in Newtown, PA.

EDIT #2:  This guy called me back and argued that Force 3 does not make a plate shoe bag.  I can't say they do, but I can say that ump-attire lists them for sale; they are just currently out of stock.  Why they would make a base shoe bag but not a plate shoe bag is beyond me.

I suppose it would be uncouth for me to write a scathing review of an online vendor, so I won't name them unless the admins tell me it's ok.  For the record, my scathing review is *NOT* about Ump-Attire.com.  I have always loved those guys.  I only went to another vendor because Ump-Attire was out of what I need.

All I needed was a shoe bag for my plate shoes.  I already have one for my base shoes.  Well, this started nearly two months ago, and when my plate shoe bag arrived I quickly noticed it was the wrong bag; it was another copy of the smaller bag used for base shoes, which I already had.  Just for grins, I tried cramming my plate shoes in there, but I would have torn the bag had I tried any harder.  I called them and they apologized, stating they have argue with Force 3 over making the packaging labels too similar between these bags.  The guy promised to send me the correct bag and a return label for the incorrect one.

Shipping time to get the first bag was nearly a month, but I can hardly fault the vendor for that.  Everyone is shipping slowly due to COVID.  Shipping to get the second one was another month; again, I won't put that on the vendor.

My shoe bag arrived yesterday.  I was dismayed to open up the package and find yet another copy of the exact same shoe bag I already had, but still nothing for my plate shoes.  Holy Moses.  This is getting frustrating.

Before calling them this morning, I went to their site to log in and get the order number, so they could find it easily.  "Incorrect username or password."  I tried it a few times and got the same error message.  I clicked on the "forgot password" link, and put in my email address, only to receive the warning, "There is no account associated with that email."  It's the only email I use for online accounts.  Holy Moses again.  I'm absolutely done with these people.  They will not get any business from me ever again.

I would say it is ok to put the company name. There might be others (almost guarantee there are) that would have dealt with the same company. Maybe they have had better luck with them and can help. Who knows.

I’m good with naming a company you have had issues with. Many times, other members have had similar experiences or better yet gotten resolution in a way you may not have thought of.

Either way, the membership will be wary when dealing with that vendor.

Think about it this way. Many of us know now not to deal with certain companies or be wary of dealing with them. This is because other umpires have mentioned their dealings and have been backed by other members with the same experience.

+POS would be a good example of this. The leader in officiating gear for years. But now have fallen on hard times.

Sadly, on this list right now it seems, is Samurai Gears. But we would have no clue if not for other umpires telling their story.

So... what company is it?

I only wear a 10 EE, but I couldn't have gotten it into this bag with a shoe horn.

So... are you going to tell us this vendor? Or do we need to start guessing of the thousands of equipment companies out there?

Ahhh... ok. I didn't see that.

Just going to put in a plug for the UmpLife plate shoe bags. Page 9 of this brochure - if you just want the plate shoe bag instead of both, they'll sell that, you just have to ask. And @Razzer will show you excellent customer service as well.

I've got several extra mask bags that I used for my plate shoes. I put my dirty shoes in one, and have clean ones at home to swap out. Turn them inside out for easy cleaning.

This is the official authorized vendor for NJSIAA. For some things, this is who we have to deal with (state emblem hat/shirt). I have had difficulties with their service in the past, but I'm locked in. Any time I can I go to U-A.

Kyle, that link to the Ump Life brochure is no longer working.  I checked it out the other day off of your link and I saw some things I was interested in.  I have been trying now with no luck.  I have tried the Ump Life facebook page and I cannot find it there.  I already have a few of Ray's things from UA but would like to get some other things from the borchure.  Any help is appreciated.

That being said, is Ray still on Facebook? I know he has posted on here once in a blue moon. But he has been absent from his group for at least a month or two.

Has anyone seen hide or hair of him? I imagine I havent been blocked. As in sure it would carry with it removal from the group page as well.

Yes. He posted today, in fact.

FWIW, I have made purchases from All Sports Officials in all three sports I work, and have never had a problem. But, I should add, I live nearby, so my purchases have been in person.

That's one thing I miss about the reorganization of Honigs. We had a location about a hour from me. I didn't like their equipment. But I was always able to walk in and get the necessary small stuff from them when I was in the area.
