new beginning

As of this afternoon, I am no longer employed. I resigned my position at the plant. The wheels are in motion and plans are set for my relocation back to Texas in just a few short weeks. I've contacted several assignors in the DFW area and have game assignments awaiting my arrival. I'm going to take a break from life and just umpire. I've always been envious of the guys that were only sports officials. Guess what? NowI AM that guy Just gotta tie up a few loose ends here in Bama, and hit the road. II'm soooooo excited!!!

Incidentally, I am on the way out of Texas and going back to California. I guess we're keeping some sort of balance in this state.

Mick, I'm halfway considering getting my license to be a personal trainer. Maybe get a job at a company in the wellness industry. Getting paid to help people transform their lifestyle and workout for free. Win/win. But who knows. For a while, I'm gonna be JUST an umpire.
