$90 for a Dynalite - LOL. A great mask but don't pay through the nose for it...

Jocko, sorry, but we are not planning on carrying the mask pads separately.

 

Just a limited edition us and Wilson wanted to make as several guys were interested. Only 144 were made so I expect this will be available for a short time only.

wow, I bought that  grey frame at btlofficials gear 8 to 10 years ago, loaded it with black amara pads, didn't really like them, so went to black leather, kept the two tone grey/black that came with it. my two tones are not leather however, vinyl outside, whatever material inside, grey harness, sometimes a sunshield, I really like it. getting a few small cracks in the coating though.

Just a wild guess, but I think they did it to make money. I could be wrong, though.

 

It's a purely cosmetic thing, as there are lighter, and more protective alternatives. But if you like that look, you now have a chance to get the rig you like.

 

Some guys like dressing up like the guys on TV. Fair enough. Now they have a chance. Me, I stopped taking ques from those guys, and use what works, and looks best, for me. i.e. long sleeve jerseys on the bases. A fashion no-no for some, looks great on me.

A legitimate question - Wilson made the pads specifically for him.

Wilson and we often received inquiries about making a mask like Marquez's. But, of course, they certainly can't use a Mizuno frame in manufacturing. So they went with what they had in a dyna lite frame. Call it a Marquez inspired mask, if you will.

I found another online seller that will have the mask. http://www.go-stop-call.com/ a Japanese website They have a photo of it on their FB page.

I went on google and put in the 17850 yen to US dollars (which is the cost of the grey mask on go stop call) and it's only $175.

Not gonna lie...I bought one.

What are the inside parts of the pads (the part touching your face) made of?  Are they leather, vinyl, or synthetic?

I bought it. I plan to pull the gray two tone pads and put on black Team Wendy's (and a Sun shield) as that is all I really use at this point. I will sell the pads and if I get $40 for the pads (to cover the black TW's) then I will be happy. Not sure what uniform combo (with Plate coat or Black long sleeve) I will use it with until I get on the field but it will definitely be in my 4 mask rotation...LOL. 

 

Pictures to follow once it is all set up.
