MadMax Posted August 28, 2014 Report Posted August 28, 2014 Both of these will be going off to MaskIt when the snow starts falling... Which, being Wisconsin, could be any day! They both suffer from paltry factory paint jobs, wherein the paint is wore off after being jostled around in my gear bag, baking under a beating sun, rained on and, of course, being hit by foul balls. The SpeedElite is (more than likely) going to get Bright Silver flake. With the FM4000, I'm going to request of Tony to concoct a "Blued-steel" tint, so there's even more contrast between the tan pads and the bars. 1 Quote

I got the helmet at Lesters Upstate sports, emailed David at customer asked if they had an all leather pad they could put in, they put one in my order for $10. Its not an item listed on their site so I don't know how many they have or if mine was leftover from something. I think All Star has them too so you could try there. Quote

I do know they didn't special order my chinpad from allstar because I asked them to add one into my order and my order shipped 10 minutes later. Plus Lesters is much better at customer service, I emailed allstar a month ago and still nothing. Quote
