I got my order from UA yesterday. We went from 40-50 temps last week to 84 today. I tried my rite-temp pad under my WVG today. It was awesome to say the least, I felt great and peppy! I didn't even feel it move or know it was there. I do wear my WVG tight in case your wondering. My chest was cool to the touch. I had a near hit last year. I had a froggtogs towel on my neck, pouring water all over me and a coach who grab a beach towel that he soaked with water every half. It was scary to say the least! I finished the game but I was totally spent. I had coaches offer me a ride too. I sat in my truck for 1/2 hr with a/c on full blast. I drove 10 minutes home and sat in front of my house for 40 minutes with my truck running with a/c on before I went in my house. Very scary and this happened to me 3 years before. Believe me when I say that I was hydrated. As said before about the pads being cheaper than a ambulance ride. My health is worth it and I feel it makes you better. You are in comfort and that goes a long way. "Stay safe my friend!" - Amen!

Being cordial is in order. Very small chatting is ok. It seems too me that players with a great personality go far in the game and you seem to remember those kids and they always seem to go far in life.

Saying hello and thanks to everyone for the this great site. I have been umpiring baseball and softball for 14 years. I took and passed my state tests last year for HS baseball and softball. I have been doing HS games the last few weeks and I'm loving it! The name FearNot is from the town I was raised in. I also use it for my game call business that I make deer & turkey calls etc. I got started when my son was 8 and they would hand select a sucker in the crowd who wouldn't run away when the coaches would walk out to the crowd to seek a volunteer to umpire. I loved it and it all started from there 14 years ago. I waited until my youngest graduated last year to take my state tests as I didn't want to miss any of her games. 2 weeks after her last HS game I took my softball test and then I took my baseball test in September. I must admit though, that I'm an equipment junkie!

Nice sign! One league in my area has signs about 50' from 1st & 3rd that reads coaches, players & umpires area only. Bleachers and parents are in the outfield

I mounted Bicep extensions on my WVG. I wear them as low as I can to try and cover my elbows. Shirt sleeve length determines how low I adjust them too. I have been wearing long sleeve shirts more this year.

I think the question to ask yourself is "Do I feel protected?". My WV makes me look big but the again I am big. I feel a ton more protected than I did with my old CP. I took a foul ball off my collar bone which almost dropped me and made me get a better CP.

Amen...Brotha! I wore mine with UA cold gear and a navy sweater under my state jacket last Thursday! I was also sporting my all black Easton gloves as well. It was a cold windy day!

I wouldn't setup the bank account until I would get more information on the matter. It would give me an uneasy feeling to say the least.

Try putting in your bag with shoulders rolled back to help put a curl in the top. Wearing it while watching TV will help break it in too as mentioned

Did you ever hear of putting your socks on first before your underwear? Strongly recommended if you have athletes feet....You don't want the captain to pick up a fungus brother! Hot tip!
