kylejt Posted November 7, 2021 Report Posted November 7, 2021 What rules are not allowing visible logos, like the huge N on our shoes, TW on our mask pads, W on our harnesses, etc? Oh, and to be on point, here's my c/p pic. 1 Quote

Oh, and to be on point, here's my c/p pic. I guess it would depend on if you work for a league/group/organization that... say... requires you by contact to not show any protector equipment logos that your organization doesn't have a contract with. Say this group only allows one to be shown... like... a large yellow lower case W. That would be an example of what Matt was talking about. Quote
The Short Umpire Posted November 7, 2021 Report Posted November 7, 2021 Here are my two +POS Cobras. Each one has been shortened from the 16” to a 13”. Also, the shoulder caps have been modified on both, just in different ways. One I adjusted to reflect the shoulder design of the west vest platinum and the other to resemble the Douglas gap protection design. Great chest protector, I just couldn’t stand the original shoulders. It didn’t provide enough flexibility/mobility. 4 Quote

I have been curious about these since I first saw them on the website a few years ago. Just never had the patience to deal with +POS as a whole. I do have to say I am digging the look of the second one. 2 Quote

I’ve tried with +POS a couple times but had to call PayPal both times. They are done. Also, I hope to see some more replies and pictures. I can’t be the only CP nerd out there... Quote

Well... if you come across any more, let me know. I am not sure Will be on the field next year. But DAMN IT! I want one of these! Lol As for "more cp nerds", remember... it is the off season. These pages get pretty quiet until the new year. (And remember also... we haven't seen Max chime in yet.) 1 Quote

I want to do something creative with a champion but don't have any ideas. Anyone have a power/power inspired cp? Quote
MadMax Posted November 13, 2021 Report Posted November 13, 2021 In lieu of posting anything at this time (I’m completely overwhelmed doing baseball games and a bathroom renovation!), I went on a deep-dive into the Archives (or should it be Urchives ? 🤔 ) and found: 2 Quote

I did it with the W and the MLB logo on my grey shins. Type of paint didn’t matter to me because it’s on the ankle wings. Probably get something that doesn’t break down the plastic with it over the heart. Quote

We use it to wrap cars, vans, trailers and buses. In that Douglas, you’ve got yourself carapace panels that are uniform and broad – this’ll be a piece of cake to cover. Far less effort than paint, with less affect upon your shirts (and plate coat!) when worn, and a much more cohesive and professional look. With vinyl, we can print just about anything. Solid color? Sure. Carbon fiber or chain mail pattern? Easily. Beer in a glass? Novel! Your own personal logo or icon? Now we’re talkin’. 1 Quote

It's a great feel. 1 Quote

Been thinking of doing this, read some threads on the topic but seems like there wasn't a definite conclusion as to a brand or method. Edit: Just bought some matte black vinyl stick on wrap from amazon. Will update with results 9 hours ago, kylejt said: Have your tried a large Under Armor type shirt over the c/p? But I have always loved the mock turtleneck look Dan Iassogna rocks with his plate coat. Oh... and let's not forget about @Fittske24and his fly look! 1 Quote

Scissors Posted November 18, 2021 Report Posted November 18, 2021 Black vinyl on my Douglas. Not sure how it'll hold up but I like the look. Only $5 for a roll of wrap on amazon 5 Quote

I’d dare ya to get royal blue (in fairness, I think CeCe used might be more cerulean). Sooooo much more attention-getting than that stoooopid, garish big yellow W. Oh! And it’s going to hold up much better than paint, especially since it won’t transfer into your shirt or (worse) plate coat. 2 Quote
