I'm starting a very busy stretch this month I've got 35 games in 22 days and this week alone I've got 14 games ready set go....

I see your 35-in-22 and raise you 60-in-21, champ ( @JasonPalo).

And people wonder why I have 4 sets of compression cupholders, four pairs of pants, over a dozen different shirts, three jackets, three masks, etc...

I just finished a stretch of 16 in 4 days.  I'm tired today sitting here at work, but I love it!  I think since the end of February I have called approximately 100 games give or take a few and have a full slate for the rest of May.

I'm just kidding - glad to hear you're getting the work you want.  I'm a little jealous since the crappy 13u game I worked yesterday was my first in a month (my day job getting in the way).  I've got a HS D1 game this Saturday, though, with two good schools and a great partner.

In Michigan we do a lot of double-headers, ...so .... M, W, Th, and Sat.... I'll have 8 games this week ....that's not TOO bad.....but we've had lots of rainouts also ......

One game down so far....  May is notorious for bad weather and rescheduling around here though.  Things start to pick up steam after the may long weekend hopefully a nice season ahead.

This past weekend...

• F: U14 Premier, Date Night
• Sa: U18 Scout (x4 in the form of two doubleheaders, done as Solo umpire), U12 Tourney, U12 Tourney
• Su: U12 Premier, U12 Tourney, U12 Tourney Championship (4 man crew, and I was on plate for that, huzzah)

The next 7 days for me (barring weather cancellations)... 

• M (today): U12 Premier
• T: U14 Premier
• W: U11 Select (these hurt), U14 Premier
• R: U13 Select (these hurt even more), U12 Elite
• F: Games #1 and #2 of a Weekend Tournament
• Sa: Games #3 – #9 of that Weekend Tournament
• Su: Give Mom a hug and a Hummingbird Feeder for her garden, and then Games #10 – #14 of that Weekend Tournament, including Crew Chief on Championship

So that's 30 in 10 days. @grayhawk, I would love to have a steady, somewhat-reliable career (day) job, and then offset it with a much more focused game workload. As it is, I'm doing design and fabrication work, which is entirely hit-or-miss... Hey, someone from the Midwest has to try to keep up with @Magic and his Califun-and-sun lifestyle!

I was a slacker, only 14 games plus a football game in the last 7 days.

This week, only 12 (11 now, just notified of a rain out tonight), if we get them in as rain is threatening everyday. This week is my only slow week until CWS but most of our guys are headed out of town for a big tourney, crossing my fingers that they still need umps and I can drive out for at least one day of 6 games. All our good teams will be there so they isn't jack on our local schedule. 

@MadMax I'm feeling like a bit of a weenie next to your schedule.

I have done 65 games so far. Started on March 19, but have had at least 20 rainouts/cancellations. This week and next week are pretty slow weeks, I believe. We are going into districts/state for HS, so there are not as many games. I did a 13u x 5 games yesterday and that will not happen for awhile. (CWS it may happen) I like 3 or 4 spots better.

I have been averaging 12 games a week for a while now, but after Dr.'s visit this morning I am going to give up some. Needing another surgery, he is willing to let me go until the end of the season, but wants me to cut back and have more down time.

Not sure of the number of games (I don't keep track), but here in he Northeast we are finally cruising through another  season. College for me is done, HS ball ends next month, then Legion and other summer ball. I have no reason to work more than 2 games/day, or more than 1 plate in a day. That's the way I like it.

I love the game and don't want to burn out by working 6 or 7 games/day. It happens in hockey doing that many games - I won't let it ruin my baseball!

​I agree. I tend to try to get as many games as I can in early (while it's not so hot). I will slow down by taking two games per day in the heat of summer. My max is three or four depending on the level obviously.
