Let me clarify, it was the bottom of the first and it was after the first pitch by the Atlanta pitcher. So you are correct, there had to be more.  The guys on the MLB network were making it sound like the first pitch of the game.

Yankees were home. Tanaka's strikeout came to end the top 1. Freddie got tossed after pitch one, bottom one.

1st pitch of he game makes a better story. I've noticed MLB network will sometimes look past some relevant facts to make a story more entertaining.

I think Fredi took advantage of being on the Gulf Coast and maybe did a little deep-sea fishing...something he can't do on, or in,  Lake Buena Vista...

Reminds me of a McClelland ejection...manager said the team's morale was suffering and walked out to Tim and said "I know you got that call right but my team isn't playing very well. Can we just stand out here and argue a little bit? I am just going to stand here and bob my head and raise my hands a little bit, but I am not mad at you. I just want to put on a little bit of a show. When I'm done you run me and I'll go to the dugout."

Tim says "That's fine, whatever you need to do, go ahead and do it." And Tim asked him about a restaurant and if he'd ever been there. Manager said no, and started kicking the dirt and said "but maybe I should try it out sometime! Well, I think this was enough, why don't you run me now."

1) Wasn't at Disney. Doesn't apply. Worse yet, it's a road game, so he's stuck waiting until the bus leaves. Or he's driving. Who knows. 

 

2) I heard him say "it was a strike." Based on the two videos above, he's probably complaining that DI called K3 on Tanaka, but didn't on a similar pitch by his guy, which makes sense. But there was something he wasn't pleased about in general.

DI tends to have some funny looking strike zones when it comes to the Braves.  Not quite like Eric Gregg in Game 6 of the 1997 NLDS but funny none the less.
