Top of 4th inning - 3-3 game - Away team is at bat , 3-2 count, R1.  18U game

Below the belt fastball, catcher sets outside, doesn't have to move his glove an inch.....I punch the guy out on Strike 3!!

Batter throws his head back in disgust and says, "Really....that wasn't outside??"  " I say nothing" so he decides to take his bat and draw me a line....and as he walks away I say "Young man, young man.....have a good night!"   "BOOOMMMM!!"

His coach walks down from 3B and says "Mr. Umpire I apologize, I would have handled it if you didn't." "Keep calling that outside strike, you've been consistent all night"

It is so much easier when kids punch their own ticket and the HC knows he deserved it.

The kids drawing lines is new to me. I just finished my high school baseball career and ever since I began playing I can't remember anyone ever drawing a line to "show" the umpire. I was a catcher too so I saw many at-bats. However, it seems this is extremely common considering the stories told on here. Interesting.

Only time that ever happened to me was in an adult league game, same result of course.

I actually verbalized "BOOM" followed by "You are done" in an EJ last year....  couldn't believe it

I've heard a guy say "Boom" on a technical in basketball last year, but I don't use it for ejections in baseball.  Still waiting to get the opportunity to use Iassogna's line of "he got you right there, BANG!"
