    Top of 4th inning - 3-3 game - Away team is at bat , 3-2 count, R1. 18U game Below the belt fastball, catcher sets outside, doesn't have to move his glove an inch.....I punch the guy out on Strike 3!! Batter throws his head back in disgust and says, "Really....that wasn't outside??" " I say nothing" so he decides to take his bat and draw me a line....and as he walks away I say "Young man, young man.....have a good night!" "BOOOMMMM!!" His coach walks down from 3B and says "Mr. Umpire I apologize, I would have handled it if you didn't." "Keep calling that outside strike, you've been consistent all night" It is so much easier when kids punch their own ticket and the HC knows he deserved it.
