Absolutely!

I'll be sporting one the very next time I'm behind the plate for a All Japan Federation of Certified rubber-ball baseball game.

Honestly, this guy has been trying to hawk his overpriced Mizuno stuff on eBay for a while now. I'm sure some suckers have bought that $80 throat protector, though, so who's the real dope?

Greatly expands the frame width of conventional, and ensure the wide field of view further.!

Maybe it comes with a prescription lens option so I can ditch my pesky contact lenses and avoid LASIK surgery.

I've always said when are they gonna come out with a mask, with some kind of plexi glass or something to replace the bars, that of course is strong enough.  With the great visibility I'd use it, although I can imagine its more uncomfortable on those really hot days

I play in 3 rubber baseball leagues at the moment (I teach English in Japan). Most Japanese people play rubber through 9th grade, then switch to hard ball for high school/college/pros but men's leagues almost always play rubber. That said, I have never seen an umpire use anything other than a conventional mask.
