Just a little fart

9th grade game tonight and I had the plate. Batter steps into the box in the 3rd inning, then takes one step back like he was getting a sign from his coach. Suddenly, I hear a fart and the batter says to me "Sorry Ms. Blue - I just had to do that before I bat."

I couldn't help but laugh!

As far as the catcher doing it, the worst one was a kid who admitted to eating nachos with chili before the 9:00 a.m game (and then asked me not to tell him mom - because dad let him eat it). I told him if he could only do it in the dugout after that one!

Couple of years ago I had to call a balk because of a fart.

 

13u tournament.  F1 comes set, turns his head to take a peek, and ripped off a loud, squishy one.  He stood there for a second or two with this big grin on his face...then WITHOUT disengaging he broke his hands and waved his glove behind his backside.

 

I was laughing so hard I nearly choked as I called it.
