Yes, because this topic has been beaten to death on this forum.

Guys, just match your partner unless your association or state is strict about it. (In 2-man, you can't even see the plate guy's undershirt most of the time so it doesn't matter)

Can you see the plate guy's undershirt in 3-man? :P

Agreed. Seeing stuff like this when a search would cover the question is just tedious! :bang:

No, but there is another umpire to match on the bases. In 2-man, you don't have to match anyone.

You wear a belt? Seriously, I have seen a guy wear suspenders while umpiring.

I have also seen it. With Home made Ball Bags and Home made Balloon!

Let me guess, the guy was in spectacularly fit physical condition?  Or did the suspenders "frame" his dunlap making it look like an air conditioner mounted on his front side?  (Which is usually why guys wear suspenders-belts don't fit anymore.

Sad.  Hope he wasn't a certified umpire working some type of real/sanctioned baseball.

I suspect he had problems finding belts in his size.  And this was a LL Jr or Sr Sectional Tournament, our crew was heading off the field and his was heading on. So, I suppose he was certified in some form or fashion.

How about a nice mauve under the new forest green jackets?

I'm never getting a break from that, am I?!

We (the few who at least try to come in uniform) wear maroon or blue polos with black or white undershirts based on heat. The light blue of our group is going to clash fabulously with those jackets. :shakehead:

my wife was walking by when I clicked on that, thanks a bunch. proved I was on this site, she went away just shaking her head, mumbling something, funny though.

The times you can see it are when BU is in A. In 3-man you always have at least 1 umpire on the lines, so you've always got someone who can see the undershirt.

That was the point being made, right guys...? Guys...? Hey guys, where'd you go? I'm sorry guys, please come back.... GUYS!
